Show your commitment to change with the #WeAreCanadaToo Volunteer Crew Sweater, created exclusively for supporters joining us in the streets of St. John’s for our inaugural in-person event supporting The Heather Cutler Foundation’s advocacy work. Worn proudly by our volunteer teams during the #WeAreCanadaToo street campaign, this sweater is more than just apparel—it’s a symbol of solidarity, action, and hope.
The design reflects branding colours and a spirit of community and advocacy behind Petition e-5186, a national movement urging Parliament to address inequities in pancreatic cancer care and clinical trial access. By wearing this shirt, you’re not only showcasing your role in driving change but also inspiring others to join the cause.

About the #WeAreCanadaToo Hashtag
#WeAreCanadaToo is a hashtag created by The Heather Cutler Foundation to raise awareness about gaps in pancreatic cancer care across Canada. It serves as a strategic anchor for the key messages outlined in the foundation’s Change.org campaign and Petition e-5186, submitted to the House of Commons in November 2024. The hashtag highlights disparities in testing, treatment, and clinical trial access between provinces, emphasizing the lack of precision medicine-focused trials outside Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and British Columbia.
In March 2025, the foundation will pivot from digital advocacy to its first in-person event through a local initiative in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. This event will focus on public engagement and street-level conversations, building support for national guidelines in pancreatic cancer care and improved access to clinical trials for all Canadians.
