About #WeAreCanadaToo
The Heather Cutler Foundation formally submitted e-petition e-5186 to the House of Commons in November 2024, calling for equal access to healthcare, treatments, and clinical trials for all Canadians, regardless of where they live. The petition initially nominated Canada’s Health Minister, Mark Holland, but after no response, it was quickly authorized by Newfoundland MP Seamus O’Regan. #WeAreCanadaToo also represents the foundation’s first in-person community outreach event, taking place in downtown St. John’s in March 2025.
